Toronto Black Friday 2026
Most Black Friday lists are written by algorithms that do not know the streetcar delays on Queen West in late November. We actually live here. This is an independent monitor of the sales that matter across the city. We track the independent boutiques in Kensington Market alongside the massive retail anchors at the Eaton Centre. The focus is on real price drops, not fake retail holidays.

Black Friday Toronto
- When is Black Friday in Toronto in 2026?
- Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27. Major shopping malls like Yorkdale and CF Toronto Eaton Centre open early at 8:00 AM with doorcrashers, and independent boutiques across Queen West and Ossington run promotions through Cyber Monday (November 30).
- What are the best independent local shops for Black Friday in Toronto?
- Top independent Toronto retailers offering verified holiday deals include: Lost & Found and gravitypope (menswear and designer footwear on Ossington and Queen West), Sonic Boom (legendary independent vinyl on Spadina), Good Neighbour (Leslieville clothing and gifts), Knix (Queen West intimate and activewear flagship), Type Books (independent books and curated gifts), and Bay Bloor Radio (high-end audio and home theatre).
- Which Toronto neighbourhoods have the best boutique Black Friday deals?
- For independent, walkable street shopping: Queen Street West and Ossington Avenue are the premier strips for Canadian streetwear, contemporary fashion, and footwear; the Distillery District combines cobblestone heritage shopping with the Toronto Christmas Market; and Yorkville / Bloor offers luxury and designer fashion.
- What time do major Toronto shopping malls open on Black Friday 2026?
- CF Toronto Eaton Centre (Downtown) opens at 8:00 AM; Yorkdale Shopping Centre opens at 8:00 AM; CF Sherway Gardens opens at 8:00 AM; CF Fairview Mall opens at 8:00 AM; and Scarborough Town Centre opens at 8:00 AM.
- Where is the worst parking gridlock in Toronto on Black Friday?
- Avoid the Yorkdale Shopping Centre surface lots and Allen Road off-ramps between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, which frequently back up onto Highway 401. Taking the TTC Line 1 subway directly to Yorkdale Station or Queen/Dundas Stations for Eaton Centre is significantly faster.
- Do cross-border deals in Buffalo beat Toronto prices?
- Factor in the US exchange rate, the QEW drive, and 2-to-3 hour waits at the Peace Bridge or Queenston-Lewiston borders. After gas and paying Canadian sales tax/duties at customs on declarations, local Toronto Black Friday deals usually match or beat US shopping trips.
